Understanding Forms 1042 and 1042-S webinars are now available on the IRS Video Portal

 

Two IRS live webinars were hosted on August 4, 2022 and September 26, 2022. These webinars, containing important information for tax practitioners and withholding agents, discuss the following topics: 

• Overview of each section of Form 1042, Annual Withholding Tax Return for U.S. Source Income of Foreign Persons,
• Overview of each section of Form 1042-S, Foreign Person’s U.S. Source Income Subject to Withholding,
• Common errors on each form, and
• Questions and Answers.
