EIC Income Requirements

To be eligible for EIC, the taxpayer must have earned income and AGI that are less than
the following amounts:

 
• $21,430 ($27,380 if MFJ) if the taxpayer has no qualifying child
• $42,158 ($48,108 if MFJ) if the taxpayer has one qualifying child
• $47,915 ($53,865 if MFJ) if the taxpayer has two qualifying children
• $51,464 ($57,414 if MFJ) if the taxpayer has three or more qualifying children
